The Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce Special Award
Presented by Jim Bensberg, Chairman, District 5, at the Chamber’s 3rd Annual State of the County luncheon.
The Chamber’s first award was the 2009 Special Recognition Award which was presented to State Representative Larry Liston. This award was given to honor Rep. Liston’s expertise and commitment in promoting strong business principles in the Legislative arena and working to develop sound public policy that positively benefits the citizens of El Paso County.
Rep. Liston consistently maintains a 100% voting record on business issues. As one of CSCC's partners remarked about Rep. Liston, “He will give his "all" to anything he takes on. If he is on your side you are very lucky.” CSCC congratulated Rep. Liston for a job well done!
